The symposium will be held at the Iowa City Public Library and MERGE/Iowa City Co-Lab, both of which are located on the pedestrian mall and are wheelchair accessible. Accessibility information about the library can be found here: https://www.icpl.org/services/accessibility. Take a tour of MERGE at http://mergeic.com/tour/

The symposium will have CART captioning and printed copies of speakers’ presentations (including large print) for those who request them. Requests for other accommodations such as ASL interpreting should be directed to Erin Hackathorn at least three weeks in advance (by March 14); e-mail erin-hackathorn@uiowa.edu or call 319-335-4034. The library has quiet spaces, as well as individual study rooms that can be reserved in advance. The city and campus bus systems are accessible. We request that attendees avoid the use of scented products while at the symposium.

There is one disability parking space directly in front of the Iowa City Public Library on S. Linn St., and two across from it on E. College St. The Dubuque St. parking ramp is one block south; the Chauncey Swan ramp is two blocks west on E. Washington St.

Please let us know if you have any questions or suggestions for improving the accessibility of the symposium.
