The mapping workshop will provide basic hands-on experience with GIS software. Participants will learn simple techniques for working with multiple layers and geographic data sources in their projects. The workshop is intended for beginners. It will be particularly useful for scholars who want to explore spatial patterns in quantitative or qualitative data, as well as those who want to create interactive visualizations.
