March 30, 2016 @ 9:30 am - 11:00 am
Event Navigation
The University of Illinois has recently launched Publishing Without Walls (PWW), a new digital scholarly publishing initiative funded by the Andrew W. Mellon foundation. PWW is currently planning a Global Midwest series geared toward publishing the results of the Humanities Without Walls (HWW) Global Midwest projects, and we are eager to engage with scholars throughout the HWW consortium around digital scholarly publishing and opportunities to participate in the PWW initiative. Scholars not involved with HWW but who are interested in learning about the Publishing Without Walls initiative are also welcome.
PWW is especially seeking innovative digital publication projects, including enriched scholarly editions, thematic scholarly research collections, data visualizations, special editions of journals, and multi-authored multimedia texts, among others.
Digital Bridges for Humanistic Inquiry will be broadcasting an informational session at the University of Iowa from the conference room in the Center for Teaching (UCC 2070E). Please, let us know if you are planning to attend it. Click HERE to RSVP.
