Spatial Humanities and the Study of Literature–2/23

February 23, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Please join us for a seminar on spatial humanities with Dr. Michael Gavin (University of South Carolina). We will meet Friday, Feb. 23rd, 12:00-2:00 at the Obermann Center for Advanced Studies Library. Seating is limited so please register here.

The seminar revolves around readings drawn from the recent collection, Literary Mapping in the Digital Age (Routledge 2016), edited by David Cooper, Christopher Donaldson, and Patricia Murrieta-Flores. Focused on theory rather than practice, the seminar is designed for scholars with an interest in spatial analysis as a method for studying literature. Readings will be circulated in advance.
